I didn't get many Christmas houses done in time for Christmas. As such I will be delivering the last 2 next week. One is a variation on the Amsterdam house and the other is a Tudor house. Neither are quite completed yet.
Here is a quick sketch of the Tudor House though. Lucy

Howard,
That is incredible. The stairs are really appealing. I haven't figured out how to do stairs with cardboard. I actually have some cork to put under a wood floor (in a real building I am renovating) so when I finish that project I should have some cork to experiment with.
Thank you for that link. It's very inspiring. Lucy

Finally finished the Tudor house. I will deliver it on Monday. I would do some things differently next time - mostly shorten the house lengthwise so roofline is not so large. Also I would make the fence walls a little shorter as well. But I would say overall I am happy with it. The little fawn is a Hagen Renaker figure that I bought online.

Thank you, Howard.
I'll do a tutorial on the tools and techniques page on how to make the trees. They are very easy after you get the hang of the process. Just like the houses you have to make a few to really get the idea. But the cost is so little - a little rope, and floral wire that you can just dispose of the wonky ones (or add them to a Halloween house). I didn't really start making them until I started on my Christmas houses though. I've been making long trunks so you can see the houses better.
Thank you again for the kind words. Lucy

Lucy, this is really nice. It reminds me of houses in Old Salem, N.C. The roof and windows really make it stand out.
