Great detail in the bell tower.
Is the church it's modeled after still in use.

Oh yes, that is a very beautiful church. I heartily agree with Steve, the details on the bell tower are wonderful. The real church is wonderful as well. Lucy

Hi Laurie you did a wonderful job recreating this special family church. The bell tower is incredible and I love the color.

Steve, the church building, along with the school, was bought by someone who lived in the school building. When we took the picture a couple of years ago, they were both empty and apparently not in use. It seems they are maintained though. Most of the old family farms in the area have been sold and there is a viable Amish community living there now.

Great job on the church. Love the Tower. Another beautiful church in Michigan. I am curious how the front windows were made? Were they printed from a home computer? On paper? or something else?

Lynn made the beautiful windows. She can give you more details but they are printed out on acetate.
