Howard, I'll be in touch with you about acetate. I think my next project (among many non putz related projects) will be a model of my daughter and son in law's house. It might make a nice Christmas gift. This is addicting! And I look forward to any info on photographing.

Deb, I was cutting teeny tiny strips of white paper for the windows, which was actually working, when my husband had a better idea. He ran them off on the computer in a couple of minutes and we printed them on vellum. He used a free program called Sketch Up. The only problem I can see is I can't print them in white.

Lucy, my porch started out pretty wobbly, but Aileen's Tacky Glue eventually takes hold and it's pretty sturdy now.

All I can say is... AWESOME! Wow, I have been wanting to build a lighthouse for some time now. I think this project of yours tipped me over the scales. Beautiful job Laurie! :)

Like Will, I too have longed for a putz lighthouse. I saw one on ebay years ago and saved the photo, then drew a potential template. That was so long ago I don't know what became of it. Such a fantastic job Laurie! I WANT ONE!

Hi Laurie another great job on both pieces. You did an outstanding job on the lighthouse. The painting is perfect, I love there is a light and the push pin is right on! The dimensions look perfect always something I struggle with but you nailed!

Good luck this weekend selling your Halloween houses!
