I have started the laborious process of selling stuff off. Looking back, I think the REAL reason fate has allowed me to get this much stuff is not to hoard it, but rather record it in photographs, which I have ever so s-l-o-w-l-y but surely been doing. Once I'm finished recording the object and perhaps trying to get a little history behind it, I have to let go of it - profit be hanged. To this end I already have a 600+ page 'Guide To Marx Plastic Accessories' available free to download, and am working to build a body of K-Line plastic accessories, and Marx tin-litho buyildings. Don't know if this will translate over to Christmas stuff - only time will tell.

I often buy things to photograph for articles, then try to find them a good home. If I can get the photographs WITHOUT buying the things, I'll gladly do so. But some readers imagine I must own everything I write about, which would make my house and garage even more crowded than they already are. :-(

Ed, if you want to post pdf files for tinplate trains somewhere, I've heard that the guy who runs Big Indoor Trains is delighted to post that sort of thing. :-)

I'll be happy to promote any free downloads you want to do. I know people out there will so appreciate it!

Paul, Maria,

If'n I remember, I'll provide you both with the links tomorrow, as I have the day off. Today I spent photographing toys for the blog - pretty good day, over 500 photos!
