good morning to all...

here's the base...a little over 4" x 6" x 5/8" thick...posts are irregular pieces of wood about 3/8" square x 1 3/8" long that stick up above the base about 1"...

i made the barbwire from 1/4" hardware cloth...the barbs are what's left when you trim the cross wires up close to a continuous length of wire...the wire is glued in shallow saw kerfs made in the sides of each post...

the blue areas on the base are painter's tape to keep the finish off the areas where the step and column bases will be glued...

more later...howard...

Of course, there had a be a "flattie". The witch is great. The details on this house are really fun. I'm working on mine. All I've done is cutout the house so far, but I am working on it.

I want to prime the project real soon and add a little sand texture...guess I've been a creative slump...it happens to all of us I'm sure...

By the way...I've still not made my way through the coconut making adventure post from you and Pete...but hope to soon...

My very best regards...Howard...

No matter what my friend, your creativity will come through, I am sure of that! Yes, stop on by and see what was discussed with my coco. I hope to learn more from the master coco maker Pete.

Cheers,

Will~
