Warning: I am contracting a technician to migrate this site to new, upgraded software that will not keep getting hacked. My apologies for the inconvenience, especially this close to Christmas, but the site may get shut down for a few day. Our other sites will be affected too. This won't be cheap, but the LAST thing I want is for all of the great user content to become unavailable.

I've also stopped the autopayments. They don't actually support the site - they're a way to keep trolls and spammers from signing up. If you have a login, you'll still be logged in in the new system.

Our sites actually cost us about $2k a year to run, in case you wondered, and this one draws most of the resources.

I expect the fix to run in the $2500 range. Several folks have offered to chip in but I'll wait until I have firm numbers before I say anything.

Just sayin', we do what we can.

Sorry. I'll update when I know more.
- Paul

Hey Everybody!
Thanks for welcoming me to the group. I'm Ted Howard from the (sometimes) Sunshine State of Florida, USA!
I've been collecting vintage Christmas including our precious little villages since the early 1990's. And I have been a builder since the early 2000's.
Currently my main focus is on creating two different villages which I have named:
Kringleton Valley - a vintage inspired design style
Nicholas Creek - which is a more detailed, not so vintage style

You can see my work on my website http://www.BrightonLakeStudio.com.

I look forward to getting to know people here and contributing what I can.

Hey Howard,
I was up in Northeast Florida north of Jacksonville from birth until 2017 when I retired. Now I’m in the Tampa Bay Area.

I would copy a direct link to the page but my old Windows 7 and Att email don't play nice...
Howard...

Howard, your memory is correct. I have some houses on Papa Ted’s Place. I still have those houses. They were some of my very first builds.

Hi Ted, in answer to your question---my blog is called Everything Croton and mainly about village life; however, almost every day there are vintage and putz posts. Here's the one in which I mentioned your work https://everythingcroton.blogspot.com/2 ... ds_23.html
