Post subject:  Japanese-themed putz house?

We've always known how many putz houses were made in Japan. However an alert reader recently saw the following house on eBay and wondered if it was intended for a Japanese audience? Thanks to the reader for bringing this to our attention!

Anyone else seen one with Asian-looking tweaking like this one?

I saw this also. I have one like it and another very similar. Obviously intended to light up but what's with those windows? "Ah, the mystries" quoting papated.

Have about 10-12 of these. Bought them together on eBay long ago.

I have a couple of this type and they do turn up occasionally. Notice the Tiny japan mark on the bottom. I think it is a post war item as best I can figure.
