I'm sad to report that we lost a founding member of our Putz House Collector's Guild, Thomas Hull. I'm sharing this message that I received for his sister Connie...
"I am writing to let you know that my dear brother Tom Hull passed away yesterday, June 26, 2022. He was feeling fine. I had called to talk with him, but he was in a church service they had at the new home he moved to in Downs, KS. I said I would call back later. He also had company during the day too and was feeling fine. He was in the bathroom as I understand and pressed the call button, but by the time the Nurse arrived he was gone. They think he had a heart attack, but not sure. I don't know right now when the funeral will be held. He is at Plumer Overlease in Stockton, Kansas. I have to write an obit. I am really going to miss him. Moreover, I am the only one of my immediate family left. Mom died June 29, 2003, Dad died April 27, 2005, my sister died October 20, 2014, And Tom June 26, 2022, age 79. He had been ill for a long time. With kidney failure and congestive heart failure. He was prepared to go home. Well, just thought you would like to know."

We suspected something like this for a while, but it doesn't make it any easier. Go with God, Tom!

Does anyone have Connie’s home mailing address…
If so, please advise…

Howard…

Found this online about Tom…

https://hayspost.com/posts/39c8448e-5db ... 2c4e465e89

I learned so much from the topics Tom posted on Papa Ted’s site about cleaning, repairing and making little houses…he and I exchanged emails and Christmas cards over the years…he always unselfishly shared when I had specific questions and even sent me patterns on a couple of houses…

Howard…

To see the topics Tom posted open “Papa Ted’s Place”…click on the link box at the top of this page…
Click on “Table of Contents…
Scroll down to the “Repair and Restoration” near the bottom of the page…

I am so sorry to hear this. He was an inspiration. Just like Howard, I remember reading his information on the Papa Ted website.

Thank you for letting us know.
