Here's my simple 2016 Valentine's Day kitchen display using the repro boxes and other bits above - pink Fire King plates. antique clown chocolate mold with heart, vintage cut crystal milk glass, and vintage made in Japan figures

I'm in agreement with Les and Lucy!...there's just something special about the art work...the style is so innocent...I must have been sleeping when you first posted the candy box picture...cause I just saw it today...Just look at how many views the picture has had...

By the way...what's the story on the little shelf and drawer piece...it just shouts tea cups and saucers with drawers for tea...where are the macaroons?...if I was still doing woodworking I'd be asking for more pictures and some dimensions...

Morning everyone--just got back from a very quick--and very frozen--walk with my old lady pug. With wind chills it is currently 11 below! Fortunately she didn't want to go further than the front lawn!

Thank you for all the compliments. I found this marvelous shelf at a church tag sale, glazed it in gold, and have been using it ever since. It's made out of pine and maple--and was very heavy for such a small piece. Normally I would left it unpainted but it was a mess.

As for these heart boxes, they are very charming given that they are repros.
