Warning: I am contracting a technician to migrate this site to new, upgraded software that will not keep getting hacked. My apologies for the inconvenience, especially this close to Christmas, but the site may get shut down for a few day. Our other sites will be affected too. This won't be cheap, but the LAST thing I want is for all of the great user content to become unavailable.

I've also stopped the autopayments. They don't actually support the site - they're a way to keep trolls and spammers from signing up. If you have a login, you'll still be logged in in the new system.

Our sites actually cost us about $2k a year to run, in case you wondered, and this one draws most of the resources.

I expect the fix to run in the $2500 range. Several folks have offered to chip in but I'll wait until I have firm numbers before I say anything.

Just sayin', we do what we can.

Sorry. I'll update when I know more.
- Paul

This is my first Patriotic Putz house. It's based on my Candy Corn pattern. But I must be honest and say that in these colors the house looks like a mailbox with a chimney. Still it's kind of cute.

I wrote a little bit about it on my blog if you want to read about the making the mailbox, rather the Patriotic Putz house. I love the bunting. I have an idea for another way to use it for another putz house that will not look like a mailbox.

Steve, I love the patriotic bird house. It's very nice with the glitter and the little birdies and the Fourth of July decor.

Here's the second Patriotic Putz house. This one is made from a commercially available die called the Village Brownstone. I modified it so the door would not be on the skinny gable side. I like the bunting, but I think it is a bit much for the scale of the house. Oh well. I made a stencil for the stars on the roof which worked out really well.

You can see a bit more detail on my blog - https://paperglitterglue.com/starry-patriotic-house-for-the-fourth-of-july/
