Tom Hull found a listing on eBay that brought back memories. http://www.ebay.com/itm/-/311326557618 No, I don't want them for Christmas. but it's a reminder that folks who don't have room for a real electric train on their putz can still add some vintage toy flavor. I was going to bid on this but alas, the best laid plans of mice and men....we had a *minor* plumbing emergency--that ended up costing more than we thought. Sigh....wasn't meant to be but still fun to look at. |

The "Lucky" locomotive was actually pretty well-proportioned. If it hadn't lost the tender and part of the smokestack, it would have made a nice display piece. Also plumbing problems ALWAYS wind up costing more than they "should.' Sorry about that. |
