Thanks Steve, Paul my hands aren't quite that large... ;) BOTH of those are great houses!! I wouldn't mind doing either one of those! Mickey would be fun to sculpt! I'm planning a loggie for one of my next houses...so well see how that goes. Thanks for sharing Maria, I saw your link to Putzfest 2011, looks like you were all having a good time, its great that a few of you were able to meet up!

We had hoped to have Papa Ted in but Irene destroyed our plans and Janet Watt and somebody else had to cancel their plane trips. Really a what could have been meeting. I will never forget Diana and Dick Gray's wonderful hospitality. I was so pushing for it because I sort of thought it was a now or never sort of deal given Ted's health. Sometimes I hate being right.
If anyone wants instruction in making a double window would be glad to do that for anyone. Tom

If you look at the type of window you know it is an Arched window. I used 2 red acetate church windows. A cel 1's if I remember that I had gotten from Papa Ted. It is really very simple. You cut out the windows and then OVER LAP them and take and Exacto knife (papa Ted called these "Inexato knives") And cut down thru the windows and getting rid of the inside window frame on both windows. Then take a small strip of the acetate and glue it to the back of the two halves. I really need to redo this one with the new French Windoors as that is what would have been there but they weren't available then, and will take pictures so you can see what I am trying (futilely) to describe.
