Hello Howard, you always know I'm up to something when I'm quiet. LOL Well here's the latest project. One year in the making. Six months designing the inserts with built in LED, remote control lighting. 3 months of organizing and picking out the perfect specimens, four months of Linda laying out, designs and building each of the forty four insert units. The display included 520 of the best of the best putz houses. Linda and I had the opportunity to share time with Christopher Radko and author Dolph Gotelli (The book Wonder and Delight,Christmas). A wild week of fun, food and plenty of Putzn'. I have plenty more pictures to share.

Thanks for your kind words, Maria. As Pete said, a year's worth of planning and planning, picking out houses, and building to put this display together. Fortunately, we only had an hour and a half drive from my workshop to the hotel and help from Pete's wife's family is what made the whole thing possible!!!

Pete and Linda,

What an incredible display and one I would have given anything to see in person. I know I'm not the only one who would like to see more pictures... did you photograph every shelf of every section? Please please please share your other pictures so that we can view every house!

And I'm curious, how did you organize your display? By category..age..what??

Such an accomplishment!

Barb, There's a video of the 2022 Museum Room on YouTube. Tour of Vintage & Antique Christmas Decorations at the Golden Glow of Christmas Past 2022 is the heading for searching. The Wonderful World of Putz is there at about 14:01 as it's about 20 minutes long.

Hi Linda!

Thank you for the link. I did look at it and it's great but it's just a tease!! I'm hoping for stills so that I can come up to my computer with a cup of coffee (or three) and slowly scrutinize every single detail to my hearts content.

Still hoping Pete will come through with more pics!
Best,
Barb

Barb, Pete did take a picture of each box here in my workshop before it went to the Museum Room. I know you'd like to see those. I'll give him a nudge to put them out here so you can study them. There are 44 boxes.
