Happy New Year greetings to all...

Here is the first of a list of "Flattie" figures that are in the works for 2022...

I want to thank Kathy Grimm, owner and moderator of belsnickle.blogspot.com for granting permission to use one of her pieces of clipart as the inspiration for this "flattie"...here's a link to the exact page in her extensive blog where I found the image...https://belsnickle.blogspot.com/2021/09/vintage-christmas-carolers-clip-art.html

This turned out to be a very intricate "flattie" to cutout, prime, paint and assemble and do all the final finishing details...but i believe the end product was worth it...

below are pictures of the inspiration clipart, a work-in-progress photo and a PDF for the patterns...I'll post a picture of the finished "flattie" in a week or so...

Howard...

What a set of carolers. Just amazing in the tiny details. As always, I am in awe.

Update...01-20-2022..."Flattie" Project Number 2...

SNEAKY SANTA...

Note...I'm ahead of the way this "flattie" and house pattern are being posted...so the "flattie" pattern comes before the house...the pattern for the house will be posted in a few weeks...

This "flattie" was inspired by the June 2005 house of the month on Ted's site...and a coloring book page I found on the internet...see the images below...and the PDF for the "flattie" pattern...

My very best regards...

Howard...
