Post subject:  ON EBAY A Pair of Paper Label CHALLENGES! Are YOU up to it?

This is about a listing of a couple of the most common of the paper label houses of which I have at least two each with one being an Occupied Japan building. These would have fuzzy windows in them and even the Occupied Japan building had fuzzy windows. These were that company's GO TOO houses used to fill out many sets so as such are far from rare AND really have very little value after having been restored! BUT the value is in the doing I would think. I really don't need much more practice on such thankless tasks. But others may like the challenge and at least for now the price I low - as it should be. The white and red house is in the best original condition and wouldn't take a whole lot to get in shape BUT "Diddie's School house" has been essentially trashed up with sticky bright red enamel. And provided you can cover the red paint without it bleeding through with modern craft paint may be the biggest challenge. In the recent restorations of some coconuts that was not a problem. If this is a very old paint job it may work fine. HOWEVER these are NOT full coconuts. Only the roofs had coconut and usually red and white. THE "SCHOOL HOUSE" was usually done in a lime green sandy finish with the base a white sandy finish with green spots around the base and on the fence. A good project as a training tool. This is the FIRST I have encountered a COMPLETELY enameled house since I bought that set I was able to restore. If someone is up to the challenge I would enjoy hearing about it.
