good afternoon...

not going to bore you with a lot of reading...just pix of the original piece, a simple pattern and a few notes...

needs a base about 3" x 5"...entry roof will have to be cut to fit after entry is glued in place...

when and if you make the house, please post a pix or two...i'm making one now...but won't post mine until later...

hope you enjoy this simple putz project...

my very best regards...

howard...here in sunny, mild and warm north florida...

Very nice, Howard. I am particularly appreciative of small putzes, but they are awfully hard to do, with my clumsy but ambitious hands. Looking forward to seeing your version. When I do mine, I'll post it.

good morning...

had a little shop time today...added a light, random coat of ordinary bird cage gravel over a thin coat of white primer...i didn't try to cover every square inch with a heavy coat...when it dries i'll start painting...the base and house are on temporary handles...makes it a lot easier to paint...

the luffah trees were made following the instructions tom hull has written and can be found on ted's site...here's the link...

http://www.papatedsplace.com/fixtree.html

the trunks are bamboo skewers on my trees...

my very best regards...and i wish you all a "Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year"...

howard

Love the trees, and of course the house. Great work as always, Howard.

This is wonderful Howard--now imagine it in hacienda colors--those crazy oranges and purples. I may just have to try this one

Nice project Howard! I imagine sometime this year I'm actually gonna have to try building one - for my Blog of course :-) But there's a few (dozen) other projects bangin' around in my head first!

I just finished my Hacienda today. This will be for my baby boy, Korben's first Christmas, so I changed the colors a little. I usually copy Howard's color choices because they always look perfect and I'm really bad at coordinating colors.

This will look better with a tree and a figurine, but I really love this design and I'm hoping more people make them!

Thanks so much Howard!

I also made Nan's adorable tiny adobe casa, and I posted that picture on the thread with her pattern.
