Greetings to all…

A while back, Lynn, suggested another joint project to build and share with all of you…it’s a change of pace from Christmas glitter…it’s an Easter Bunny House…

It was inspired by a vintage one-piece folder…probably from the 50’s…it’s from her growing file of projects to be built…Lynn, thank goodness for that file!…

The first image is of the original…the second is my version…it differs slightly as to the front openings…but it’s still the same basic house…mine is made of heavy duty poster board covered with scrap booking paper…I can see this house being easily adapted to other seasons and holidays…

The PDF pattern includes two front designs…the attic window could be replaced with a sign and words similar the original…there is no light hole but one could be added…

I was gifted the cupcake pick bunny…sprayed it flat white and detailed with craft paint…an alternative figurine could be a “chenille chick“…

The fence came from Hobby Lobby as did the scrap booking paper for the walls, roof, window mullions and door frame…vellum was used for the panes…ground cover is dyed sawdust applied with white glue like glitter or coconut…

We invite all of you to build your own version of this house and post your picture here…

By the way...the jellybeans disappeared soon after the photo was taken...

Howard...
