Howard, I love your raffia fences! They look so authentic. The luffa trees are fantastic as well. You truly are a putz artisan!

Update...7-23-2021...House number 5 in the 2021 series finished...

I think you'll agree that my version of the 2000 June House of the Month is much, much brighter than to gray original...not that there is anything wrong with the vintage original...because there isn't...

The colors are Ivory White, Tea Rose, Calypso Blue and Deep Buttercup...my regular craft store glitter, with a touch of ground mica, was applied applied with Mod Podge(R)...

I was recently gifted a tube of very fine clear glitter that was used to highlight the snow on trees...hopefully I can find more after I do a search and reach out to the manufacturer on the label...the tiny, oblong pieces look like fine "coconut"...of course, I'll share my finds with everyone...fingers crossed...

Now...I'm off the find a new house to build...stay tuned...

Howard..

Update...8-27-2021...House number 6 in the 2021 series...

I've had the picture of this small vintage house on file for a number of years...so now it's time to make my little glitter house version...see the photos below and the PDF for the pattern...

Note...this house will fit in nicely with the "Pack-O-Fun" house series and well...since it has a 3" x 4 1/2" x 3/4" size base...go here...hope this link works...https://www.cardboardchristmas.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=1554&hilit=pack+o+fun#p10587

Completed and in storage until around Thanksgiving when it's time to set up the village...I haven't done very many white houses on white bases...but am pleased with the way this one turned out...

My very best regards...

Update...9-20-2021...House number 7 in the 2021 series...the "Storybook House"...

First picture...and a little back story...my house number 7 in the 2021 series is based on a pattern Lucy posted...her Cherry House Number 11...you can find it here... https://paperglitterglue.com/category/cardboard-house/free-pattern/...with her permission, I used her basic pattern, made a little wider, modified the front entry, added a chimney and made a few other cosmetic changes...

Second picture...here's the "Storybook House" version I'm working on...it's shown here in raw cardboard...but it's in the shop waiting for the second coat of white primer to dry...I'll post a picture of the completed project later...NOTE...the dormer roof is not glued in place in the photo...it's just glue tacked in place for the picture...

The two pattern sheets will be posted in a follow up post on 9-21-2021...stay tuned...

Howard...
