greetings to all...

yes...another project in the works...(it's the cheapest therapy i can find!)...and i had to have a place for the elf flatties to live...
the design was inspired by several images on the internet and other houses with small square windows above the entry...

the finish will be extra fine glitter like the dolly house series...colors will be red with black roofs, green fence and white snow details...haven't used black glitter before...but i did a test and liked the results...not sure about the landscape details just yet...

a picture of the project in raw cardboard and PDFs of the pattern are below...

my very best regards...

howard...

update...3-31-2019...

greetings to all...

despite a few diversions over the past many weeks...this house is finished...lots of extra fine glitter to be sure...i think this is the first time i've used black glitter...but may be using it again...not sure if i mentioned it on this project, but the window mullions are hand cut card stock with "emperor's gold" color metallic paint...

my very best regards...

howard...

Again, outstanding.

Love the winter backdrop for the photo.

Must be a winter scene from florida. ;)

In reality, looks like the view from my backyard most of the winter.

Can you fill me in about the "Emperors Gold" paint you used.

Steve

Beautiful work Howard as always! Those elves look like they're ecstatic about their new abode. I love the fact that your mullions are "hand-crafted" and painted. It adds so much more of a personal touch. ;)
