I’ve used various grits of sand...and found I get better results with fine grit sand vs large grit sand...I only apply to one surface at a time...I personally like Elmer's Glue All white glue thinned only a tiny amount of water...I know some forum members use Modge Podge (spelling?) instead of white glue...but I haven’t tried it myself.... As for the sand..I just bought a finer grit and it is working better Howard, and Lucy I have been using the Mod Podge but I'm going to try the Elmer's Glue All next for comparison. And....here is the flagstone without the base or tree. I could not get good lighting in the house so I took the picture outside... Jeanne

AND...the Green Brickie. I had a problem with the printing, for some reason it printed in two alternating colors of green. Gave it a different look than Howard's.

I also ran into problems with the red brick in printing. I don't think this is the same file that Howard used. I may have tried to print a brick pattern from another file. Well anyway....it's done, except for the base as usual. I am not in love with this one, I may try to make a new one with a different Brick pattern where the mortar is whiter and the bricks are smaller. In my defense it was late.... ![]()
