I adore these little houses and it was one of the things that brought me to these forums. I have only made one of them so far, the first one and I converted it into an ornament for my tree at work. I just love it. Thanks for sharing the pattern.

Iris...

Three thumbs up!...you’ve added your own special touches, too!...I hope you’ll make all the houses in the series and share your pictures with us...

By the way...the ten cent city series is not going away in 2020...I hope to start posting new versions sometimes in February...

Here is my small Ten Cent City houses. I am hoping to make some more in the fall.

I have led lights on my Christmas tree so I added the houses I had finished. I really liked how they looked all lit up on the tree.

BUILDING “TEN CENT CITY” HOUSES…CHAPTER TWO…2020...

Yes, the series continues…and with almost 39,000 views as of today…it must be popular… :D

Update…2-5-2020...House 1...Flagstone Veneer "Brick Printie"…

Greetings to all…

This series will be a collection of “brick printies”…basically many of the same houses as the first Ten Cent City ones…but with printed brick and stone graphics on the walls instead of colored sand…I’ll be including a link to the free printed graphics that Paul has created…plus some photos of the houses being wrapped with the printed graphics…

Go here for the graphics…and scroll down to the “flagstone veneer” graphics…I used the Large Scale Version of the PDF…
https://www.bigindoortrains.com/indoor_resources/brick_n_stone/brick_n_stone.htm

Covering the walls with the graphics isn’t difficult…just take your time…measure, crease, fold, glue and trim with a sharp craft knife or small scissors…I use Elmer’s® Glue Sticks and Aleene’s® Original Tacky Glue to apply the printed graphics to the cardboard…

Here’s a shot of the basic house in raw cardboard…the free pattern is in the PDF below…Stay tuned…

Howard…
