Hello Fellow Collector's and Builders. I've been working on this project for a long time and now it has come to fruition. You can set down your Exacto knives for a while. I can now, relatively easily, cut as many style of fences I wish. You will see, in the photos, that I have cut 3 of the most common crenelation topped fences and one of the very rare fences. I have a shallow, a medium and a deep crenelation fence top (Copied from the original Japanese fences). In photo #2 you will notice that it has a piece with a crenelation on each side. That's so you can cut the fence to the desired height. I will let you cut the slots or punch the holes in the fence so you can match up the house you're repairing. These are the proto types that I just received today. I give them 10 thumbs up. I'll have to work out the prices. As a group we may want to decide what other fences are needed before I go into production.

Outstanding work. I like the idea of a double type fence. If you make it wide enough you can have two fences from it. Good idea! I love the complex but seldom seen fence - it would be a BEAR to do by hand. Maybe the new putz builders would be interested. I seriously doubt I will ever have the need for it - unfortunately. |

Just found these examples of houses using those types of fences. The ones with the triangles looks like it would be tough to cut by hand. http://www.cardboardchristmas.com/papat ... 05hom5.jpg |

I've been working on punching out the design of the triangles fence - it's not going real well. So your timing on this fence is great for my next lackie. |

Hello Laurie, I'm modifying the triangle fence. I knew there were two versions, one with the solid area in between the lattice work and the other that is a continuous lattice like the picture. I'm glad you pointed that out before I sent off the final designs. Are there any other fences that I'm missing? Thanks PutzinVT |
