I guess this piece could be best be described by terms I don’t think I’ve heard in years…that would be “bric-a-brac” or “whatnot”…my interpretation was inspired by various internet images…the Santa I’m using is a vintage celluloid ornament…depending on the height of your Santa ...

I’m embarrassed to admit I think I missed seeing this topic when first posted…it gets three thumbs up for creativity and effectiveness…those small, incandescent bulbs seem to illuminated the houses better than most LEDs, which give off a blueish light…

Another tribute to the Sears organization...it looks spot on in every detail to me...there are some older, core-city neighborhoods here in Jacksonville with similar houses...stay with the bold color choices like you did with the first house...

Here is the completed cottage...I finished the project with birdcage gravel and metallic craft paint...clear glitter was used on the roof snow and the base...the Santa is and older cast metal Lionel Train one...note...there are more house projects and free patterns in the ...
