good evening...

a "skating couple" was chosen as the next "flattie" project...i found the inspiration image when doing a google search of "vintage winter sports"...

i had to make a few changes in the legs to get all four skates to touch the base...some layered details were added to create shadow...i also found out i can "incise" (carve) details in the surface of cardboard...

the piece may be finished and dry sometimes tuesday...hopefully some pictures then...

my very best regards...howard...

greetings to all...

another "flattie" project is finished...and what a difference the overall clear spray and glass glitter on the base makes...finished height is only about 1 1/2" including the base...

my very best regards...howard...

Howard, you have a far steadier hand than I. Love the details like the buttons on the skates.
