PUTZABILITIES

Well Auction 55 (2013) has ended at Croton's own SeriousToyz. As a friend says, yowza! Click on the link to see the auction results via catalog--page after page of some very interesting things--and final numbers! You can also check out how the Christmas stuff did http://serioustoyz.com/catalog.aspx

But what really caught my eye--and this isn't a pattern but with such talented people around here there could be one(!)--was this matchbox vintage item that sold. Now THIS just screams putz--or lakie--or trains--or SOMETHING!

Not exactly the same thing, but Howard and I took a crack at a classic diner a few years back:

That is so cool Paul.

A friend sent me these examples from a 1955 house sample book she acquired. We have to agree that the lines of mid-century modern architecture lend themselves well to putz building. Lots of "putzabilities"--and a little inspiration perhaps--here--continued in the next few posts

Thanks. The mid-century modelers/putzers would have a blast with these.

Some great images from a house design trade catalog--barns and churches--see an example below--perhaps some inspiration for you putz crafters from scratch--see more here http://everythingcroton.blogspot.com/20 ... ds_21.html
