2026 Project No. 9: Center Front Chimney House with Raffia Fence

Greetings to all from a hot and humid Florida,
This month’s project is my Little Glitter House version of a house I came across during one of my many internet image searches for project ideas. Because the original photograph is protected by copyright, I can’t post it on the forum.
My version is much smaller than the original, but it keeps many of the same architectural details and proportions. The original appeared to be a carefully crafted, one-of-a-kind piece, possibly a dollhouse, a collector’s item, or something displayed in a museum.
You’ll find the pattern in the PDF below the photos. I didn’t take any work-in-progress photos of this project because the assembly process has been covered in detail many times over the years in other houses I’ve posted on the forum.
I do want to call special attention to the windows:
• The Tudor-style diamond mullions are made from fiberglass window screen that I spray-painted gold.
• The frames are hand-cut cardstock painted with metallic gold craft paint.
Stay creative and stay tuned for more projects. Now, I’m off to find another project.
Howard
