maria...

what makes this even better are the price signs and merchandise boxes!...you've really outdone yourself this year...now...if you could only create the smell of the popcorn machine and the peanuts they weighed and sold by the bag...and the lunch counter...

wishing you a merry christmas and a happy new year...

howard...

ps...i see a few very familiar items on display!...

Oh those peanuts.....But what I will always remember are the "pop the balloon" and pay whatever price was inside--for your banana split or sundae.......one time I actually got the balloon with the "one cent" in it. They also had the best grilled cheese.

And now it is done! My guy got me these vintage stockings filled with vintage dime store toys--i found my original edition of Gulliver's Travels and more vintage Christmas pins--plus a pair of vintage Jewel Brite plastic ornaments. Ta-da.

Maria,

This display is spectacular. The Christmas museum couldn't do better. It's just wonderful. It puts a smile on my face.
