Amazingly, this is my second Christmas house this year. Usually I don't start on them until November. I continue to play around with the stone texture. I think I am getting better at painting the stones. This is the latest one called the Christmas Farmhouse in Stone.

Again, amazing.
thanks for showing the paint used.
Is the yellow just a dry brush highlight.

Steve,
I didn’t end up using the yellow because I figured it was yellow enough, but I was going to add yellow highlights using a dry brush.

Looking awesome Lucy! Is the distressed paint like a watered-down acrylic? I can't find it here in the Philippines, so-- I need to try to make my own with what I have on hand. Thanks for your help friend!

Yes, it is a thin acrylic. I use this brand now mostly because I know the colors so well, but I believe any acrylic thinned down would do. You just need a family of shades to give dimension to the stones.
