For years I have seen them around and even purchased a few. None of them had any identification as to manufacturer. Now I know the name of the company who had them made: Meow Reo. Them are trinket boxes shaped like houses and constructed from wheat straw dyed in various colors. Pinks and purples were popular. In lack of knowledge I assumed they were bamboo straw. Who knew? But an etsy seller has a few listed along with the name of the company. Google can provide many images of these little houses, so can ebay. No two can be exactly the same because they have to be hand crafted.

I had to share my new knowledge with others who might find it interesting.
