Great color, Howard. I just love the contrast between the yellow and the red. And your Santa matches so nicely, too.

Fantastic little house Howard! Love the new fence style. That will become a neo-vintage classic!

Howard, I wondered how you handled the front gable roof overlapping the main roof - meaning did you snip off that intersecting triangle on the inside of the gable. I can see that you did not. I like that because I think the main roof supports it. But when I made something like this recently I asked myself - what would Howard do in this case?
It is such a beautiful house. I love this series so much because the houses are so beautiful.

I am loving this thread... and all the beautiful Glitter houses.. I have a question on size.
I a guessing the pack o fun are smaller than say your original glitter house.

But what about the Dolly's. What size are they considered?
Can you give me a review? Thanks and thanks for sharing

Debbie…regarding your inquiry about base sizes…
Early pieces…sizes were all over the place…both squares and rectangles…depending on what looked best for that particular project…
Pack-O-Fun houses…probably 95% or more of them fit on a 3” x 4 ½” x ¾” thick base…I like this size…they’re fun to make, easy to display and store…
Dolly houses…looks like there were bases that ranged somewhere between 3” to 3 ½” x 6” to 7” x ¾” thick…some may have been a tad different…perhaps up to ½”…
Luckily for me making little houses is not an exact science…and there are no real rules…
Hope this answers your questions…if not, let me know…
My very best regards…
Howard…
