Thank you all for your kind words of encouragement. Even though I don't know you personally I consider you friends as we all share a passion for this hobby.
Just a couple of new pics of trees. Since this is a factual representation of a real home I am using trees that are usually used for model train displays. It doesn't show up much in these pictures but I have painted them brown and gray and used white paint for snow in the crooks and branches of the trees. Then I covered them with a really fine silver glitter that gives them an icy look. I am hoping to finish these by tomorrow and I will take some better pictures of the completed houses.
Take care,
Lee

What a wonderful house you're doing a great job! I just used this fine glitter, now seeing how you used on your trees you have given me a great idea for future projects.

It is a dark December night in Preble, New York but the warm glow of the porch light will soon be welcoming family and friends back home for the holidays...
More pictures to come...

Hello everyone,
The trio of houses are finished! Just in the nick of time as I am going to New York State next week and will be able to deliver two of the housed personally.
A note about the photography. I used one of those collapsible tabletop studios. It has different backgrounds as well a a couple of lights and a tripod. It is perfect for photographing these houses. I am attaching a few pictures of the finished houses in different lighting set ups...
Please enjoy and I will answer any questions as they come..
Have a great Sunday,
Lee
