Lynn wrote:This looks wonderful!! I have to agree you do a great job making your luffa trees. How do you make your stucco? I used Martha Stewart’s stucco, it comes in a jar ready to use. I used this on my Irish cottage. Today I was playing around with mixing paint with rice flour. This mixture looks like it may be good for snow, but neither of these looks like yours. I can’t wait to see how you paint this beauty! Thanks
lynn...

i'm going to take a close look at the "marth stewart stucco finish"...it sounds interesting...

i did look at your irish cottage...the finish looks just about what i was trying to get...some texture but not as grainy and lumpy as mine...

my stucco was a blend of thick white paint, a little white glue and sifted birdcage gravel...i probably mixed in a small amount of white craft sand...i can't remember for certain... :)

my very best regards...howard...

Awesome is the right word. Tom, you're a hacienda fan. What do you think? Related to DC's note about taking these to art students, etc., one of our members (who - sadly - seldom posts) used to give presentations in libraries as part of craft series that people sign up for. Maybe she'll share . . . . . .
