I love seeing the play by play.
Neat to see your thinking process thru the project.
Any ideas on the type of coating. Glitter, mica ???

good morning...
here is the house with 3 coats of primer...still not sure of the colors and finish...
possibly a gray body, rose pink roof, medium blue fence, snow base and on roof peak, yellow walk and window mullions...
there will be a touch of snow on the top of the chimney...perhaps i'll use a textured finish of colored sawdust...
when i add a green tree, i will have just about used all the color families...
my very best regards...howard

Looking Good! Truth be told, I'm a big fan of the primer state and love seeing the photos. They are so clean looking and you get to see all the details really well. It might be neat to do a Ghost house some day all in white covering!

good morning to all...
finished the "toad house" last night...i used a "textured finish" made from sifted sawdust colored with craft paint...
the very white snow highlights are "snow-tex"...i still see a few things i have to touch up later...
i think i found the "perfect figurines" for the front yard, too...

...sorry...i just had to do it!...they are removable of course...
have a great weekend...and enjoy thanksgiving day...
my very best regards...howard...

Love the figures.
They go pretty well.
You'd buy those online.

This little guy came out great!! Love the flamingos and your textured finish! Got another question for you, do you use glue stick for attaching the printed material to the chimney?
